Spiked Eegee's: Ann & Jason
If you are from Tucson, you understand that Eegee's frozen fruit drinks go hand-in-hand with summer time. The flavor of the month was Mango Tango. So, what goes good with that? Although I think vodka and tequila would both be yummy, we decided on rum which did not disappoint! And, you can't forget the classic Lemon Eegee that we mixed with Sweet Tea Vodka.
Which would you like to try? How about one of each? Hey... it's summer.... why not?!?
Even Brady couldn't get enough of this delicious mixture! J/k... although he did continue to try his hardest to get just a sip the whole night :)
For our beer selection we picked Shiner Bock Ruby Red Grapefruit:
"The Perfect Summer Beer"!
Recipe:
Order your favorite Eegee's flavor: http://www.eegees.com/menu-items/our-drinks/
Then add your booze of choice
And enjoy the taste of summer!

Two of the best summer flavors came together with Katie & Denis's appetizers! They made amazing deviled eggs that had just a touch of kick to them and the watermelon salad with feta and kalamata olives with nothing short of refreshing on the hot June day!

Recipes
Deviled Eggs:
This recipe is from a place in NYC and they make the best deviled
eggs!!
Only difference when I make this is that I can never find tarragon
infused champagne vinegar, so I just use a pinch of regular dried tarragon and
then champagne or white wine vinegar.
Watermelon Salad:
I left out the tabasco, because that sounded weird to me. But other than that, this was the recipe I
followed.

Deluxe Bacon Burgers & Macaroni Salad: Ryan & MJ
What's a better summer meal than a barbequed burger loaded with all your favorite toppings? A bacon barbequed burger of course!!! These beauties were grilled to perfection and topped with tomatoe, avocado, lettuce, and onion, plus ketchup and your choice of regular mustard, spicy jalapeno mustard, or insane habenero mustard.
To go with them, Ryan & MJ made a delicious macaroni salad - good thing we had plenty of this to cool our mouths off from the fiery mustard!
