Brats, Sweet Potato Salad, and Pasta Salad: Katie & Denis
Halftime brought a series of flip cup games. Girls vs. Boys.... girls won every time! Following our regression back to our college days, we sat down to true tailgate style, complete with paper plates and plastic utensils.
Our brats were topped with sauteed onions and peppers, and served alongside barbequed sweet potato salad and pasta salad. A great way to watch the game!
Following dinner, someone, I won't name names... (starts with an R.....) rallied the fans for another series of flip cup games. This time Broncos vs. Seahawks.... Broncos win!!!

Got them all at The Sausage Shop (1015 W. Prince Road). Boil and grill them up – yummy!
Sweet Potato Salad:
Pasta Salad:
16-ounce package multi-colored rotini pasta, cooked al dente
½ cup pepperoni – sliced in half
½ cup cheddar cheese, into small cubes
1 can black olives, drained
2 cups grape or cherry tomatoes, cut in half
½ cup pepperoni – sliced in half
½ cup cheddar cheese, into small cubes

2 cups grape or cherry tomatoes, cut in half
2 cups cooked broccoli
1 red pepper – chopped
1 green pepper – chopped
½ red onion -sliced
1 bottle (8 ounces) your favorite Italian dressing cut
Mix it all together, adding as much or as little of the
ingredients as you’d like. I used less
dressing because a whole bottle seemed like way to much – so add slowly.
