Ants & Hogs on a Log: Ann & Jason
When thinking of an appetizer involving peanuts, we couldn't help but think of the old childhood classic of Ants on a Log.
To make this a Culinary Couples worthy food, Ann & Jason put their cooking talents to the test and made their own peanut butter and raisins!
To go along with the Ants on a Log, because Ann & Jason know their crowd well, and bacon is a much more well received food than celery, they also brought what they renamed as Hogs on a Log. This involved a piece of white bread, spread with peanut butter, and wrapped with bacon, baked in the oven. Sounds weird but it's pretty amazing!

Because we knew we were serving bacon, we went with the "healthier" option in the recipe and decided not to add any additional oil when blending.

We used the oven method and it took about 8 hours to get to the desired dryness.
